How do you add/change your Deviant ID?

I click on the box's edit button and the functions that come up dont give me the opportunity.

Do you have to be subscribed?

Farnborough Airshow 2008 (Watch for PIC updates!)

Mon Jul 21, 2008, 1:58 AM
They did a brilliant display this year.

A great day, i set of from home at 0800, Farnborough is only a 10 min train ride for me and a 10 min ride on a bus. So i got to the airbase at around 0845.

I spent the first few hours just wandering around looking at the aircraft, chatting to the pilots who were open and friendly. One chap was a F18 Navy Pilot. He told me he'd just made Lieutenant Commander. He told me a hair raising story when he had to nurse his damaged F14 Tomcat fighter back to his carrier flying the no fly zone over Iraq before the recent war. One of his engines had conked out and he was exposed to weapons fire from the ground. Plus he had to land the plane of a pitching rolling deck of his carrier. I get sick on a bus!

Sod Tom Cruise these guys were for real.

There was so much to take in.

The air display was really cool, fighter jets, airliners, stunt planes, old, new you name it. Class stuff.

Some samples.

The perils of bad printer cartridge labelling!

Fri Jun 20, 2008, 12:20 PM
Box: R200 Epsom cartridge.
Contents: R300 Epsom cartridge compatible only.

OK I bought a cheap, non Epsom brand yellow cartridge for my R200 printer from a local Photo store.
Took it home replaced cart. ERRoR! Not compatible! WTF i said!
cut a long story short.

Box said R200 compatible. Cartridge said R300 only.

AAAAGH!

I took it back to the shop and basically i said to them they need to be careful, Misleading packaging is illegal or some such thing.

They gave me a new one a proper full price cart. But short of opening every box to see whats inside is the same as whats on the box you'll never know.

Thats the cheap knock offs for you, you dunno what u get.
